Celebrating Pete's Legacy with the Gift of Heat This Christmas Season
For Randazzo, the Christmas season is a time of family, thankfulness, reflection, and giving back to the community that has supported us for over 35 years. This year, we are proud to announce our latest program, “Pete’s Gift of Heat,” a heartfelt tribute named in honor of one of our beloved founders, Pete Randazzo. Pete was more than just your average business owner; he was a pillar of the community, a man of profound faith, and a beacon of inspiration and kindness who always extended a helping hand to those in need.
In the spirit of Pete’s unwavering generosity, we invite you to join us in helping continue Pete’s legacy by making a difference in someone’s life. We are seeking nominations for individuals or families in our community who are facing challenging times and could benefit from a new furnace this Christmas season. Whether they are experiencing financial hardships, health struggles, or personal obstacles, we want to provide warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
By nominating your candidate, you can help us bring the gift of heat to someone’s home, wrapping them in the warmth of community support and Christmas cheer. So, be sure to share the story of someone special in your life who embodies resilience and deserves a helping hand. Together, we can light up their Christmas season and continue Pete’s legacy of family, community, compassion, and generosity.
Submit your nominations and help us make this Christmas season a little brighter for someone deserving of Pete’s Gift of Heat. From all of us at Randazzo, we wish you a joy-filled Christmas season packed with love, peace, and the true spirit of giving.

Here’s How It Works:
From now until December 1st, we’re inviting you to nominate someone in your life—a neighbor, friend, or family member—who has consistently given back to the community but might now need a helping hand. Whether they’ve suddenly faced hard times or simply deserve a little extra warmth this season, we want to hear their story.
To submit a nomination, simply click the Nominate Today button below and tell us why this individual should receive the gift of warmth this Christmas season. Please provide as much detail as you can.
Our committee will review each nomination from December 1st to the 7th and select one deserving community member. Both the nominator and the nominee will be contacted to share the exciting news.
Then, on December 13th, 2024, the selected individual will receive a brand-new Lennox furnace with same-day installation—free of charge, courtesy of Randazzo Heating, Cooling, and Electrical.

When Do the Nominations Close?
Nominations close on December 1st.

Who Qualifies As A Good Candidate?
Each nomination recognizes a special individual who may be going through hardship, helps others in need or simply supports their community.
Many of our nominees simply don’t have the means to make their homes more comfortable on their own. That’s where nominations from community members like you come in.
Some examples of nominees include teachers, firefighters, and volunteers; families facing hard times; veterans; senior citizens living in older homes; and people impacted by natural disasters. In short, anyone who serves others is a good candidate for our Pete’s Gift of Heat Initiative.
Are There Any Stipulations?
Yes. Here are the stipulations:
- The furnace must be a forced-air furnace, and existing ductwork must be in place. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace boilers or radiator systems at this time.
- Individuals cannot nominate themselves.
- The recipient must be a United States veteran or currently serving.
- The recipient must reside in Southeast Michigan.
- If the existing furnace is in working condition and less than 12 years old, we will be unable to install the new furnace, and the next runner-up will be selected.
- The recipient must own the home where the furnace will be installed.
